I am a self-taught, award winning, Mystic artist living my childhood dreams of being an artist. A crisis in my life turned into a blessing when I turned to painting and writing as a way of self-expression and self-healing. Creativity became a doorway to my soul whereby I entered the inner world and I found it to be more colorful and more meaningful than the outer world. It was like finding the Kingdom within, where joy, happiness and self-love became the inner riches. While going through challenging times in life, I found the only way out was in!
Painting is like meditation for me whereby I can still my mind and allow my heart to take over by painting intuitively. Showing up to a blank canvas can be a little daunting at first but then once the paints are applied in a spontaneous fashion, the journey begins! The canvas starts to take on a life of its own and that is where the magic and miracles take place. The end result is far better than I could ever imagine!
I paint in many styles from abstract, impressionism, expressionism to folk art using various mediums of paint. I always like to challenge myself and sometimes try new mediums to keep the art fresh and alive. The great masters such as Picasso and Claude Monet have been great influences in my style of painting.
I have been painting for over 25 years. My art is collected internationally, in corporate collections, exhibited in museums and art galleries all over Canada and the United States, along with appearing on the covers of national magazines.
I have two self-published books on Kindle and my art has been used on the covers alongside with my poetry in the book. Future plans are to write books for children that incorporates my art.
I hope my art brings joy, peace and healing to all who see it and own it. May each painting be a window to the soul.
